The software implements an inheritance mechanism so that personal and group perspectives inherit, compare and share information from each other.

The personal perspectives provide a workspace for individual work; the comparison perspectives allow negotiation and convergence toward consensus.

The mechanisms of perspectives and negotiation are part of an attempt to build a software environment in which a group can collaboratively construct knowledge, reflect on it and evolve it.
